Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's achieved huge popularity with her stories she tells of her young heartbreak. Swift showed an interest in the arts at a very young age, and quickly moved from roles in theatre for children to her first appearance before an audience of tens of thousands. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a Philadelphia 76ers game at the age of 11, she was already creating songs. After that, she began playing guitar. Swift, who took her inspirations from Shania Twain's music and that of the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of country music, wrote the songs of her own to convey the feeling of being alienated. Swift was just thirteen when her parents made the decision to let go of their Pennsylvania farm to relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could spend all of her energy to approaching label labels from the country scene in Nashville.
