Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She has been widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of child witnesses and eyewitness memories in the legal setting. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded numerous grants, and has been honored with many national and international prizes. She has advised a variety of government agencies and governments around the world about policies and research relating to child victims of the law by the system. She is also a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was President of the America Psychological Association's divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
