Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known character was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career working in the Chicago area theatres for a couple of years. Then she moved to television and film. Anna was the first to get a major part in the role of Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler was the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film and a few other films also featured her. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. The story of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The degrading of this relationship is akin to Walter White's final years.
