Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, a stunning actress who has left a mark across the screens. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. In no time she was moving to Texas and completed her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months before moving to Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of character roles including local independent films and commercials. In spite of the minor parts, she realized acting as her true passion. After moving to New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some great TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in her role in the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress-TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character in CSI Miami. The role was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The show was later cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory who is Italian by descent. Her family was very strict and spiritual one. Milano started her acting career at seven when her babysitter accompanied her to an acting audition. With more than 1000 applicants her name was picked to be one of only four. Milano appeared in advertisements both on Broadway and television, including the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
